## Personal Data We Collect
BowlingRes collects necessary personal data to provide and improve our services. This data includes:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Bowling Club Affiliation
- Phone Number (optional)
- Email Address (optional)
- Analytics information like IP addresse, browser and device info and activity/navigation on the page
## How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To validate user accounts
- To allow tournament organizers to contact participants
- To provide correct player classifications for tournaments where age is a factor (this includes all tournaments in Norway)
## Data Processor and Sub-Processor
BowlingRes operates both as a data processor and sub-processor. We use sub-processors for the storage of information and track application performance as well as uptime and application errors.
PostHog Cloud is used as a Data Processor for webpage analytics
## Data Storage
Your personal data is stored within the European Union or in countries approved by GDPR. Specifically, we use Linode and PlanetScale, both of which store and process data in London. When errors occur the error message and details about the user session is stored in Sentry. Sentry stores data in the United States.
## Data sharing
Data is shared with the Norwegian Bowling Federation (NBF) for the purpose of validating user accounts and providing correct player classifications. Data is also shared with tournament organizers for the purpose of contacting participants. And directly or indirectly publicly available through the BowlingRes website.
## Data Retention
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services. We will also retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. This includes historical data about tournaments you have played in.
